Apologies for being so absent, bills had to be paid, and a step away from illustration had to be done in pursuit of some dollah. That's all done now and I'm in the studio again, hazaa!

Weiden + Kennedy & Nokia

In the past month or so I've had an exciting few projects with Weiden + Kennedy; a mural made with the Nest Collective (go here to see their blog about it: http://wklondon.typepad.com/welcome_to_optimism/2010/04/nesting-in-the-stairwell.html) and the most recent brief, which was a creative development project for Nokia. We had to illustrate a load of hands - my dream project! Thanks to Laura Vent for the opportunity.

I did some textile designs for Coco Fennell (top jeweller Theo Fennell's daughter) new fashion label. She's sending me some fabric samples soon so I'll post them up as soon as I can. The inspiration was everything I love, ships, crowns, hot air balloons and rather dashing men!

I have been asked by Chloe Bonfield to participate in a project for Weiden + Kennedy with other female artists from the Nest Collective, and we will be installing a large mural each within their offices this Sunday. Here is a little sample of a wallpaper design I have done in preparation, inspired by wartime nursery's. The little boy is Dylan Thomas as a child.
